I would like to start with a large thank you to those who have followed and watched this blog until now whether from the beginning or joined later. I appreciate all the support and love (and likely laughs). This blog originally started as a long term project for a class I took but it has grown into something I enjoy and look forward to.

Therefore, though this is the last post for my project, Ditzy Drinks will continue to post content and videos. Due to conflicts with school and personal life however, the schedule for posting will likely shift to every other week.

Thank you for your support so far and I hope you continue to enjoy and support my content.

Estus is an item used in the video game series, Dark Souls, to replenish certain stats and can be collected at bonfires. In Dark Souls, fire and the sun are the essence of life and are common themes throughout gameplay and lore. In this video I try to create a drink based off of Estus with Aubrey-Grey, the writer of E for Everyone, a video game blog.

Be sure to check out E for Everyone, linked above, or find them on Twitter (@MisterWintr) or Instagram (@misterwintr).

Estus (citrus cider)

Ingredients:

  • 4oz Apple Cider

  • 1tsp Cinnamon Simple Syrup

  • 1/4oz Lemon Juice

  • 1/4oz Lime Juice

  • Ginger Beer

Tools:

  • Jigger, for measurement

  • Glass of choice

Heat the apple cider before preparing this drink. Pour heated apple cider into glass of choice. Add cinnamon simple syrup, lemon juice, and lime juice, and stir. Top off with ginger beer and enjoy.

Next week Ditzy Drinks will not be posting a video but be sure to subscribe and follow on Ditzy Drinks' social media to stay updated on posts and information.
