Awaken your inner nerd and get ready for some stat boosts. This week I sat down with Laura, the writer of Under the Dungeon, a blog to help beginners explore the world of Dungeons and Dragons. Together we tasted various "potions" and discussed the effect of each and how it's used during a game or session. If you wish to know more about Under the Dungeon, or DnD in general, check out the Under the Dungeon blog or social media. (Under the Dungeon Facebook, Under the Dungeon Twitter)

As a night owl (and anti-morning person) I rarely get to enjoy a nice sunrise, so here's my solution: a Tequila Sunrise! Made correctly, this juice cocktail is a great way to get those pretty sunrise pictures without a real sky (this is a joke). I didn’t make much of a mess this time but do remember that Ditzy Drinks encourages messes as we all learn together. If you wanna share your own sunrise creations send them through the contact page, and subscribe for more updates and content from Ditzy Drinks.

Tequila Sunrise

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Tequila

  • 1 oz Grenadine

  • about 4 oz of orange juice

Tools:

  • a jigger (for measurement)

  • a tall glass

Pour tequila and orange juice into your glass. Slowly pour grenadine in the center of the glass and it should sink to the bottom, creating an ombre effect.

Next week Ditzy Drinks will make a couple Autumn/Fall inspired drinks.
